Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried chipotle pepper
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 1⁄2 cups croutons
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 (1 pound) skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1 1⁄2-inch chunk
  • Cooking spray
  • Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Directions

  1. Mix chipotle powder, maple syrup, and salt in a saucepan and cook on a simmer for 5 minutes
  2. Crush the croutons in a food processor and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Beat egg in another shallow bowl.
  4. Season the salmon chunks with sea salt.
  5. Dip the salmon in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Divide the coated salmon chunks in the two crisper plates.
  7. Return the crisper plate to the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.
  8. Select the Air Fry mode for Zone 1 and set the temperature to 200°C and the time to 10 minutes
  9. Press the "MATCH" button to copy the settings for Zone 2.
  10. Initiate cooking by pressing the START/STOP button.
  11. Flip the chunks once cooked halfway through, then resume cooking.
  12. Pour the maple syrup on top and serve warm.
