Ingredients

  • 65 g pecans, finely crushed
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 catfish fillets, 110g each
  • Garnish (Optional)
  • Fresh oregano
  • Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Directions

  1. Spray the two air fryer drawers with avocado oil. Preheat the air fryer to 192°C.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed pecan, salt, and pepper. One at a time, dredge the catfish fillets in the mixture, coating them well. Use your hands to press the pecan meal into the fillets. Spray the fish with avocado oil and place them in the two air fryer drawers.
  3. Air fry the coated catfish for 12 minutes, or until it flakes easily and is no longer translucent in the center, flipping halfway through.
  4. Garnish with oregano sprigs and pecan halves, if desired.
  5. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated 176°C air fryer for 4 minutes, or until heated through.
