Ingredients

  • 650gm  Red onion
  • 60gm Dried Anchovy (Ikan Bilis)
  • 200gm   Water
  • 30gm Toasted Belachan
  • 60gm Dried chili (Big chili less spicy)
  • 180gm Oil
  • 5gm Salt
  • 5gm chicken powder
  • 10gm Sugar
  • To taste Tamarind juice (Assam Jawa)
  • Kang Kong (Water spinach)

Directions

  1. Blend up Chili paste and set aside
  2. Blend up the rempah base with Ninja blender then cook for 10min in Ninja Smart lid cooker on Saute mode 5
  3. Cook till it less watery and fragrant add in chili paste and cook for another 10min
  4. Season with salt, sugar and tamarind juice to your preference
  5. Cool down and ready to use.
  6. Preheat Ninja double stack at roast 200°C for 2min
  7. Mix KangKong with sambal evenly and roast it for 2 min
  8. After 2 min stir it and cook for 3 more minute.
