Directions
- To prep the beef jerky: In a large zip-top bag, combine the soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the beef slices, seal the bag, and toss to coat the meat in the marinade. refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.

- Repeat this process with the pineapple in the Zone 2 basket and insert the basket in the unit.
- Select Zone 1, select DEHYDRATE, set the temperature to 65°C, and set the time to 8 hours.
- Select Zone 2, select DEHYDRATE, set the temperature to 57°C, and set the time to 12 hours.
- Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking.
- When the Zone 1 timer reads 2 hours, press START/PAUSE. Remove the basket and check the beef jerky for doneness. If necessary, reinsert the basket and press START/PAUSE to resume cooking.
