Cuisine

Western

Ingredients

  • 50g minced onion
  • 120ml hard apple cider, or apple juice
  • 85g honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 910g pork tenderloin
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons oil
  • 8 uncooked bacon slices

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the onion, hard cider, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Transfer to a large resealable bag or airtight container and add the pork. Seal the bag. Refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Insert a crisper plate in a basket and line it with parchment paper.
  4. Remove the pork from the marinade and place it on the parchment. Spritz with oil.
  5. Insert the basket in Zone 1. Select Zone 1. Turn the dial to select AIR FRY, set the temperature to 200°C, and set the time to 15 minutes. Press START/ PAUSE to begin cooking.
  6. Wrap the bacon slices around the pork and secure them with toothpicks. Turn the pork roast and spritz with oil. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 60°C, depending on how well done you like pork loin. It will continue cooking after it's removed from the fryer, so let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
