Ingredients
- 3/4 C. water
- 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2/3 C. granulated sugar
- 1 large ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
- 3 oz, fresh lime juice
- Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker-NC300
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add water, corn syrup and salt and beat until well combined.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat.
- Slowly add the sugar, continuously beating until well combined and bring to a boil.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and set aside to cool completely.
- In a high-speed blender, add the sugar mixture, avocado and lime juice and pulse until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into an empty Ninja CREAMi pint container.
- Cover the container with the storage lid and freeze for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, remove the lid from container and arrange into the outer bowl of Ninja CREAMi.
- Install the "Creamerizer Paddle" onto the lid of outer bowl.
- Then rotate the lid clockwise to lock.
- Press "Power" button to turn on the unit.
- Then press "SORBET" button.
- When the program is completed, turn the outer bowl and release it from the machine.
- Transfer the sorbet into serving bowls and serve immediately.
