Ingredients
- 275g salmon fillets, chopped
- Salt and ground black pepper, as required
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 egg yolks
- 7 tbsp chilled butter
- 165g flour
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 4 eggs
- 6 tbsp whipping cream
- 2 spring onions, chopped
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together the salmon, salt, black pepper and lemon juice. Set aside.
- In another bowl, add egg yolk, butter, flour and water and mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 2 portions
- Place each dough onto a floured smooth surface and roll into about 17.5cm round.
- Place each rolled dough into a quiche pan and press firmly in the bottom and along the edges.
- Then trim the excess edges.
- In a small bowl, add the eggs, cream, salt and black pepper and beat until well combined.
- Place the cream mixture over each crust evenly and top with the salmon, followed by the spring onion.
- Press either “Zone 1” or “Zone 2” of Ninja Foodi 2-Basket Air Fryer and then rotate the knob for each zone to select “Air Fry”.
- Set the temperature to 180°C and then set the time for 5 minutes to preheat.
- After preheating, arrange 1 quiche pan into the basket of each zone.
- Slice the basket into the Air Fryer and set the time for 20 minutes.
- After cooking time is completed, remove the quiche pans from Air Fryer.
- Cut each quiche in 2 portions and serve hot.
