Cinnamon Toast Smoothie

The positive health effects of chia seeds include boosting energy and aiding digestion. They are also a wonderful natural thickener for creating a creamy; shake-like texture in any smoothie.

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 1/4 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 cup ice
  • Ninja Blast Max - BC251
  • Ninja Pro Blender - BN500

Directions

  1. Place the chia seeds in a container and add 1/2 cup water. Cover and place it in the refrigerator overnight to soak.
  2. Place the raisins in a container and add 1/2 cup water. Cover and place it in the refrigerator overnight to soak. Drain raisins after soaking.
  3. Place the soaked chia seeds and raisins with the rest of the ingredients in the order listed into the Ninja 710ml cup and blend for 40 seconds.
