Ingredients

  • Shrimp
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 to 1 cup buttermilk
  • Cooking oil spray
  • 1 large egg whisked with 1 teaspoon water
  • Sauce
  • 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha, or to taste
  • Pinch dried dill weed
  • Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Directions

  1. Season the corn starch with salt and pepper in a wide, shallow bowl.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp in the buttermilk to coat them.
  3. Dredge the shrimp in the seasoned corn starch.
  4. Brush with the egg wash after spraying with cooking oil.
  5. Place a crisper plate in each drawer. Place the shrimp in a single layer in each. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Select zone 1, then AIR FRY, then set the temperature to 180°C with a 5- minute timer. To match zone 2 settings to zone 1, choose MATCH. To begin, select START/STOP.
  7. Meanwhile, combine all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
  8. Remove the shrimp when the cooking time is over.
