Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker - NC300

Ingredients

  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 C. heavy cream
  • 1/3 C. granulated sugar
  • '/2 of banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 C. frozen butternut squash, chopped
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 6 vanilla wafer cookies, crumbled
  • Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker-NC300

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, add the egg yolks, heavy cream and sugar and beat until well combined.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Remove from the heat and through a fine-mesh strainer, strain the mixture into an empty Ninja CREAMi pint container.
  4. Place the container into an ice bath to cool.
  5. After cooling, add in the banana, squash and pudding until well combined.
  6. Cover the container with the storage lid and freeze for 24 hours.
  7. After 24 hours, remove the lid from container and arrange into the outer bowl of Ninja CREAMi.
  8. Install the "Creamerizer Paddle" onto the lid of outer bowl.
  9. Then rotate the lid clockwise to lock.
  10. Press "Power" button to turn on the unit.
  11. Then press "GELATO" button.
  12. When the program is completed, with a spoon, create a 11/2-inch wide hole in the center that reaches the bottom of the pint container.
  13. Add the wafer cookies into the hole and press "MIX-IN" button.
  14. When the program is completed, turn the outer bowl and release it from the machine.
  15. Transfer the gelato into serving bowls and serve immediately.
