Almond Joy with Shredded Coconut Gelato

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker - NC300

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the milk, cream, sugar, and protein powder. Blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container. Add the shredded coconut and chopped almonds, and mix gently to distribute evenly.
  3. Place the lid on the container and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  4. After freezing, insert the container into the Ninja Creami machine.
  5. Select the 'Gelato' program and start the machine.
  6. Once the cycle is complete, check the consistency. If it's too thick, use the 'Re-spin' option.
  7. Serve in bowls and enjoy the Almond Joy with Shredded Coconut Gelato!
