Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon caramel extract
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Directions

  1. Layer both crisper plate with parchment paper.
  2. Grease the parchment paper with cooking spray.
  3. Whisk flour with milk, 1/4 cup of sugar, egg, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Separately mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon in another bowl, toss in walnuts and mix well to coat.
  5. Stir in flour mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Drop the fritters mixture using a cookie scoop into the two crisper plate.
  7. Return the crisper plate to the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.
  8. Choose the Air Fry mode for Zone 1 and set the temperature to 190°C and the time to 15 minutes.
  9. Select the "MATCH" button to copy the settings for Zone 2.
  10. Initiate cooking by pressing the START/STOP button.
  11. Flip the fritters once cooked halfway through, then resume cooking.
  12. Meanwhile, whisk milk, caramel extract, confectioners' sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  13. Transfer fritters to a wire rack and allow them to cool.
  14. Drizzle with a glaze over the fritters.
