Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup pistachios, shells removed and chopped
- Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker-NC300
Directions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the cream cheese and microwave on High for about ten seconds.
- Remove from the microwave and stir until smooth.
- Add the sugar and almond extract and with a wire whisk, beat until the mixture looks like frosting.
- Slowly add the milk and heavy cream and beat until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into an empty Ninja CREAMi pint container.
- Cover the container with storage lid and freeze for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, remove the lid from container and arrange into the Outer Bowl of Ninja CREAMi.
- Install the Creamerizer Paddle onto the lid of Outer Bowl.
- Then rotate the lid clockwise to lock.
- Press Power button to turn on the unit.
- Then press Ice Cream button.
- When the program is completed, with a spoon, create a 11/2-inch wide hole in the center that reaches the bottom of the pint container.
- Add the pistachios into the hole and press Mix-In button.
- When the program is completed, turn the Outer Bowl and release it from the machine.
- Transfer the ice cream into serving bowls and serve immediately.
