Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Cuisine

Western

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 65g flour, plus 2 tablespoons
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 120ml beer, plus 2 tablespoons
  • 85g crushed panko breadcrumbs
  • oil for misting or cooking spray

Directions

  1. Peel onion, slice, and separate into rings.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Add beer and stir until it stops foaming and makes a thick batter.
  3. Place onion rings in batter and stir to coat.
  4. Place breadcrumbs in a sealable plastic bag or container with lid.
  5. Working with a few at a time, remove onion rings from the batter, shaking off excess, and drop into breadcrumbs. Shake to coat, then lay out onion rings on cookie sheet or wax paper.
  6. When finished, spray onion rings with oil or cooking spray and pile them into the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry at 200°C for 5 minutes. Shake the basket and mist with oil. Cook for 5 minutes and mist again. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes more, until golden brown and crispy.
