Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 'A cup Red Hot candies
  • Ninja CREAMi - NC300TH

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of cream and the egg yolks until smooth.
  2. In another large bowl, combine the half-and-half, 1 cup cream, and Red Hot candies. Whisk with a wooden spoon until the candies dissolve, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the cream-egg mixture into the candy mixture and stir to incorporate.
  4. Pour the mixture into an empty ninja CREAMi Pint container and freeze for 24 hours.
  5. After 24 hours, remove the Pint from the freezer. Remove the lid.
  6. Place the Ninja CREAMi Pint into the outer bowl. Place the outer bowl with the Pint in it into the ninja CREAMi machine and turn until the outer bowl locks into place. Push the ICE CREAM button.
  7. Once the ICE CREAM function has ended, turn the outer bowl and release it from the ninja CREAMi machine.
