Ingredients
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/3 C. coconut sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. brown rice syrup
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 C. heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 C. unsweetened almond milk
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 C. carrot puree
- Ninja CREAMi - NC300
Directions
- In a small saucepan, add the egg yolks, coconut sugar and brown rice syrup and beat until well combined.
- Add the heavy cream, almond milk, carrot puree and spices and beat until well combined.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Through a fine-mesh strainer, strain the mixture into an empty Ninja CREAMi pint container.
- Place the container into an ice bath to cool.
- After cooling, cover the container with the storage lid and freeze for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, remove the lid from container and arrange into the outer bowl of Ninja CREAMi.
- Install the "Creamerizer Paddle" onto the lid of outer bowl.
- Then rotate the lid clockwise to lock.
- Press "Power" button to turn on the unit.
- Then press "GELATO" button.
- When the program is completed, turn the outer bowl and release it from the machine.
- Transfer the gelato into serving bowls and serve immediately.
