Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • ½ tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooling spray
  • Ninja Double Stack XL 9.5L Air Fryer – SL400

Directions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in a shallow baking dish. Cover with the buttermilk. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. In a large gallon-sized resealable bag, combine the flour, seasoned salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk but don't discard the mixture.
  4. Add the chicken to the bag and shake well to coat.
  5. Dip the thighs in the buttermilk again, then coat in the panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Install a crisper plate in each drawer. Place half the chicken thighs in the zone 1 drawer and half in zone 2's, then insert the drawers into the unit.
  7. Select zone 1, select AIR FRY, set temperature to 200°C, and set time to 30 minutes. Select MATCH to match zone 2 settings to zone 1. Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking.
  8. When the time reaches it minutes, press START/STOP to pause the unit. Remove the drawers and flip the chicken. Re-insert the drawers into the unit and press START/STOP to resume cooking.
  9. When cooking is complete, remove the chicken.
